Well-designed isn’t just beautiful. It’s how it works, how fast it is, how reliable it is. Tools like Supercut help our whole team understand what that standard looks like.

Flodesk is the email marketing platform designed for creators who want beautiful emails without the complexity. With product in the US, design in Europe, and engineering in Vietnam, the team rarely has all three disciplines in the same room. They needed a fast, reliable async communication tool, and chose Supercut to bridge the gap.
Flodesk
Email Marketing
~50 employees
The intuitive email marketing platform that helps creators and entrepreneurs design stunning emails, build forms, and create sales funnels, no coding or design skills required.
Flodesk's product team is in the US, product design and brand design sit in Europe, and engineering is in Vietnam. It's rare for all three disciplines to be in a meeting together. So the team relies heavily on async communication to keep work moving across time zones.
They needed a tool that made async easy, fast, and reliable, something anyone could reach for when a Slack message wasn't enough, but a meeting wasn't worth the coordination cost.
Before Supercut, Flodesk's previous solution wasn't reliable enough and didn't feel as easy to use. For a team that builds one of the most beautifully designed email tools on the market, the bar for internal tooling is high.
Yuri led an initiative across the design team: use well-designed tools, because it's by using them daily that you understand how far you can push your own software. That philosophy drove the switch to Supercut, and from ClickUp to Linear, not just for designers, but so the whole company could experience what great design feels like.
Yuri has Supercut open all the time. Whenever he needs to go deeper than a Slack message, explaining how a feature should work, walking through a design challenge, or showing a flow in motion, he hits record. Sometimes with camera and mic to talk through the thinking. Sometimes just a silent screen recording to show exactly how something should behave. Then he shares it and the conversation continues on Slack.
Beyond the design team, Flodesk's education department uses Supercut to build a library of feature walkthroughs for their members. Chapters help viewers navigate to exactly what they need, and the AI chat feature lets them ask questions about the content without rewatching. What started as live workshops now lives as a searchable, on-demand resource.
